about
studioe
studio e is a commercial gallery with the beating heart of an alternative space.
Founded by Dawna Holloway in 2014 and located in Georgetown, a historic industrial area in South Seattle, studio e's dynamic program of contemporary art exhibitions, talks and special projects have become a mainstay of the city's arts community. Working with both emerging artists such as Emily Counts and David Kearns and Northwest notables Joe Feddersen, Fay Jones and Cappy Thompson, the gallery's interests range from formalist painting to current practices that blur the line between the fine arts, handicrafts, and design.
Besides the work of gallery artists, studio e's program extends to collaborations with independent curators such as Amanda Donnan and Melissa Feldman and collectives such as fruitsuper design and Heroes Gallery, and off-site projects such as One Room and Anthony White's "While Supplies Last." studio e participates in the Seattle Art Fair, Volta, and Art on Paper, New York.
All of studio e’s exhibitions are free and open to the public.
